Chicago White Sox starter Doc White pitched well against the Baltimore Orioles at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, leading his team to a win, 6-1. The White Sox are now 38-42.
Chicago used the timely hitting of Minnie Minoso to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the White Sox ahead, 5-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"I was talking to myself on the mound, saying 'attack, attack, attack, stay convicted, no matter what,'" said White.
