Toronto Blue Jays starter Jimmy Key turned in a top-notch performance against the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park. The result was a win for the Blue Jays, 5-0. The second-place Blue Jays go to 43-33.

It could have been a different outcome for Toronto, had it not been for Buck Martinez, the 34-year old catcher . Martinez contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put Toronto up, 2-0.

"I managed to get ahead of guys and keep them at bay," said Key.
