Rangers Make Mariners 5-3 Losers
|
Texas Rangers starter Dick Bosman pitched well against the Seattle Mariners at Safeco Field, leading his team to a win, 5-3. Jeff Russell closed the game out for Texas, earning his 12th save. The 4th-place Rangers now have a record of 30-39.
Milton Bradley aided the Texas cause with a 2-run single in the top of the third. For the game, the center fielder was 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
"When you have a good rhythm and good flow, it's nice to just go out there and pound the strike zone with confidence," said Bosman.
