The Cincinnati Reds racked up a win at Miller Park, bumping off the Milwaukee Brewers, 9-2. Johnny Cueto, who started for Cincinnati, pitched effectively for his team. The win gives Cincinnati a season record of 35-34.

Cincinnati right fielder Paul O'Neill contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to left-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 33rd hit of the season and put the Reds ahead, 3-0.

"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Cueto.
