The Colorado Rockies picked up a win at AT&T Park, topping the San Francisco Giants, 5-2. On the mound for Colorado was right-hander Aaron Cook. He played a principal role in the triumph. Huston Street got the save, the 10th for him this season. The Rockies saw their record improve to 25-44.

It could have been a different outcome for Colorado, had it not been for Charlie Blackmon, the 30-year old center fielder . Blackmon contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put Colorado up, 4-2.

"I know we have our doubters," said San Francisco manager . "But I still have high hopes for this team."
