Camnitz Delivers 2-0 Win
|
Pittsburgh took on Miami in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. Howie Camnitz, in particular, was fantastic. The Pittsburgh right-hander helped his team snag the win, 2-0. The Pirates, at 37-30, sit in first place in the National League Central Division.
Camnitz's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 5 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 3 hits. Camnitz, who is tied for 10th in the NL in quality starts with 10, goes to 9-4 on the year with 72 strikeouts.
