Matin Dihigo

Willie Wells

Another couple of busy off seasons in 1923 and 1924 brings us Martin Dihigo, a brillant prospect who can pitch, and play almost every position. Martin earned the knickname "The Immortal" for his play on the field. Short stop fenom Willie Wells, speedy centerfielder James "Cool" Papa Bell, sluggers Norman "Turkey" Stearnes and George "Mule" Suttles. Ace starting pitchers Bill "Willie" Foster and Roosevelt Davis.
