1911 Dick Redding, Jimmie Lyons and Other NeL Stars Join Majors

This year's rookies include; Dick Redding and Pearl Webster who played for the Brooklyn Royal Giants in the NNL were drafted by the Brooklyn Superbas. Dizzy Dismukes star pitcher for the Indianapolis ABCs of the NNL will be joing the St. Louis Browns. Stellar long reliever Tom Johnson for the Chicago American Giants will be headed to the White Sox. Ace pitcher Jose Junco of the Habs in the Cuban league will be headed to Washington. The last selection was Jimmie Lyons of the St. Louis Stars will be joining the St. Louis Cardinals.
