The 5th time is the charm -- at least for Frank Grant. The second baseman for the St. Louis Browns hit the milestone against the Philadelphia Quakers, helping his club to a narrow 4-3 victory. Grant finished with a 5-for-5 line at the plate. "Grant was a tough out," Philadelphia manager told the press in the postgame interview. "If it weren't for him, I think we had this one. "Frank Grant hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Grant is currently hitting .280 with 1 home run and 32 RBIs, while scoring 24 runs.
