What if the color line never existed?

Welcome to Replay Baseball's "What If The Color Line Never Existed" website. Here we will explore the idea of major league baseball never having a color line. With the help of Dave Koch's Computer Baseball game we will include negro league players who came before Jackie Robinson. All of the Negro Leagues finest from 1901 all the way through until 1949. The replays have been broken into decades as show above. Click on them to follow how things may have been "if the color line never existed"

1900s

We start in 1901 the beginning of modern baseball in the middle of the Deadball Era.

1910s

Our second decade is the 1900s, still in the Deadball Era but we add some key Negro League players to battle to Cobb and Wagner.

1920s

Our third decade marks the end of the Deadball Era and the beginning of the Rebirth of Baseball and Babe Ruth.

1930s

Our fourth decade is the beginning of the Golden age of Baseball. We will add some powerful bats to challenge the big boys.

1940s

Our fifth and final decade brings us to the end of our project and tests the record books.
